for those who love ordering honey garlic chicken tenders like me, here's a healthy Paleo version i found off the internet and tried out myself! changed the chicken parts to chicken breast fillets though. and the best part is, they're not fried :)
YOU WILL NEED:
1 1/2 lbs. chicken breast fillet
4 Tbsp sesame oil
5 Tbsp Honey
3 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tsp red pepper chili flakes
INSTRUCTIONS:
combine all ingredients in a bowl, add chicken last.
put inside a large bag and marinate for 8-24 hours.
i marinated mine for 23 hours.
heat non stick pan over medium heat and add a little bit of coconut oil.
Add chicken slabs and cook for about 3 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and lightly browned.
serve with your side dish of choice. i made tomato-onion omelette for mine.
i must say they ended up juicy, and the honey-garlic taste was perfect and the spiciness tickles your tastebuds so well, it's hard to stop eating.
serves 3-4 people.
bon appétit!
love, Bubby
